What do you like best about working in education?: I really enjoy building relationships with students and watching them grow as young students and adults. To watch and help them grow from the beginning to the end of the school year is the most rewarding part of the job.

What is your favorite part of the school day?: My favorite part of the school day is Reading. I enjoy getting into character and showing students how exciting and fun it can be to read. My favorite subject to teach is Math because I enjoy teaching students different skills throughout the year.

What do you like best about Bridges, your classroom, or your teaching team?: I like being able to build relationships with students and staff all around Bridges, not just in my classroom. I believe school culture and cohesion is extremely important to building a healthy and productive work environment. I take pride in knowing students from different classroom and creating friendships with my fellow staff members.

What were you like when you were a kid?: As a kid, I was very shy and reserved. I never raised my hand in school to speak or participate. I was also the student who sat in the back and looked away when the teacher asked for an answer. Now, I speak and stand in front of a group of students all day!
