Tell us a little about yourself.: I am from a small town in Pennsylvania called Kennett Square. It is famous for its agriculture- specifically the mushroom industry! I moved to DC in 2014 to start teaching right after my college graduation and have loved it ever since! I love to exercise, dance, and cook, but I really love to eat good food with my family and friends. I have a mom, dad, and one sister who is in college. I also have a 9 year old chihuahua named Bella who lives with my parents!
Where did you go to school and what did you study?: I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College. I majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology.
What do you like best about working in education?: I am NEVER bored at work. There is always something crazy or exciting happening with these kiddos.
What is your favorite part of the school day?: Nap time!!
What do you like best about Bridges, your classroom, or your teaching team?: The diversity, both among the staff and the students!
What were you like when you were a kid?: I was really annoying-- I had a high-pitched, squeaky voice, and never stopped talking!!
